Cough
- Before treatment, eat a small amount of yogurt, honey, or peanut butter, or drink very cold or very warm water
- Use a short-acting bronchodilator pretreatment
- Review proper technique for the prescribed device
- Temporary dose reductions and/or slower titration
- OTC or prescription cough medicines
- Consider adjusting or optimizing other airway medications
Headache
- OTC pain relievers
- Temporary dose reductions
Throat irritation
- Oral analgesic spray
