UNITED THERAPEUTICS CAREs™
Behind you all the way
Patient Navigators provide a United Therapeutics single point of contact for each patient
Our team will work with your patients to identify any potential obstacles to access and affordability and how we may be able to assist with overcoming them. Here’s how we can help:
- Education & Expectations: Matching your patient with a Patient Navigator to keep them informed about what to expect in their treatment journey
- Coverage & Reimbursement: Initiating the benefits investigation process and setting expectations on prior authorizations, appeals, and reimbursement needs
- Cost & Savings: Sharing potential options, like co-pay and patient assistance programs, that may help with affording treatment
- Prescription Coordination: Overseeing the referral process, working directly with Specialty Pharmacy Partners, to triage your patient’s prescription, confirm coverage, and monitor prescription status
- Treatment Support: Checking in regularly and connecting patients to Patient Education Specialists, who can be an additional resource
Visit UnitedTherapeuticsCares.com for more information or reach out to the United Therapeutics Cares team directly at 1-844-864-8437. We’re ready to help Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 7 pm ET.
